October 2019 Newsletter

Fall Greetings;

We are excited to present the following lineup of quality farmland auctions and listings highlighted below. We also are pleased to offer lots located on or near Long Lake (Willmar) including an 8 acre point surrounded by water. These lots will be up for auction on Tuesday, October 15th.

We are aware this fall has brought extreme challenges to the farmers thus far. Because of this we reflect on how farmers and investors evaluate farmland. Our business is interesting as 2+ years ago the first question we would be asked when people called on a farm is how high the soil quality was (crop production index number). Now the first question we are asked is how much tile farms have and if there is a good outlet for drainage. With a few wet years, it has brought greater attention to the need for drainage. Proper drainage will bring maximum yields and selling prices.

Don’t hesitate to call with questions about upcoming auctions, farmland market conditions and prices, or for information on the buying or selling process. We love our work and our team is here to serve you.

September 2019 Newsletter

Greetings to you all,
With Fall in the air, harvest time will be upon us soon. To all the farmers, thank you for the work you do – we pray you have a safe and productive harvest.
Fladeboe Land has a great line-up of auctions in the upcoming months spanning three Minnesota counties; farmland in Kandiyohi, Swift and Chippewa county are all up for auction. We also have a farmland listing in Renville county you’ll want to check out below. We are honored to be chosen as the company to facilitate the sale of these farms. All of these parcels have been owned by these families for decades – proving the statistic right that land in Minnesota, on average, comes up for sale only every 50 years. We encourage you to take a hard look at these farms, as we are reminded that often years or decades go by without land being available in your home township.
Please call or email with additional questions about the below listed farms, or to inquire about the opportunity to market your land this Fall.
The Fladeboe Team- Kristine, Glen, Dale, Carl & Patti
